Saraswata Niketanam hosts an enivable collection of rare books and magazines encompassing a wide gamut of categories.
In total there are one lakh books in English, Telugu and Hindi, Sanskrit, which include magazines “Bharathi”, Krishna Pathrika, "Griha Lakshmi Sarada.“ Andhra Sahitya Parishad Pathrika (all in telugu) carefully bound and preserved right from the very first issue
In English a few examples include Triveni, Prabudha Bharatha, modern review, Harijan.
There is also a series of thousand poems called "శతక వాఙ్మయం" which are devotional hymns in praise of various Hindu Dieties which holds a special place in the lives and memories of many generations
Almost all epics, the first manuscript of Vavila Press, scripts from historically famous plays such as "Kanya Sulkam" are also housed in the library
In addtion to books printed on papers, Saraswata Niketanam is also home to few esoteric palm leaf manuscripts
